Game development is a very vast domain full of unprecedented opportunities for new Developers, designers, artists and organizations. Gaming sector is growing very fast at a rapid pace, overtaking filmmaking as an entertainment industry. These days almost everyone has a smartphone and a huge number of smartphone users who are actively playing games. Most of them don't hesitate to download a new game once in a week and give it a try. And there is a common trend about mobile games, that a new mobile game has a higher chances to get more downloads then compared to other utility apps. Also there is an increased demand in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications. Keeping these factors in mind, AWS decided to provide services in all these domain that can be initialized and managed easily on the Amazon Cloud Computing platform (AWS).
In this course you will be learning about these domains, and how you can create your very own instance for Game, VR and AR application on Amazon Web Services. You can create you own game or VR/AR application from scratch using these tools provided on AWS, and you can also scale you gaming experience with different cloud services such as storage, compute, database, etc provided on AWS. In this course you will be learning these following AWS services:
Amazon Gamelift: It is an AWS cloud service, that has a full game engine where you can create you very own game right on the cloud.
Amazon Sumerian: It is an AWS cloud service, generally meant to support the development of applications based on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

- No prerequisites at all. You just need a little experience of doing GOOGLE search only ! But if u are aware of some cloud based or web development tools and technologies, it is helpful.
