I mean, the you will be given the generic versions of cooking, like how many of us try chinese food but chinese people say, this isn’t real chinese food. Or Indians, like myself we know the foods aren’t the authentic indian food. Why? Because you are given the simplistic recipe, the generic recipe for the wider population, whilst the recipe may be right, the technique, the style and methods of cooking are more important especially in Moroccan cooking.
This program, will teach you step by step, how to cook moroccan food, implementing age old techniques, and methods. Not only that I take you along a cultural, and historical journey with me, so you can not only enjoy the divine food from morocco but you can also taste the culture, and traditions of Morocco when you cook these meals.
So you are probably wondering who I am, right and what gives me the right to teach you about cooking, well, I’m not Moroccan, BUT I’m married to the world’s best Moroccan, food critic. He spending many years abroad, one would think he would change his food tastes, but how can you blame him with such tasty food as Moroccan food, once you taste Moroccan food you never go back, who would go back?
I am the first advocate here because naturally, google was the first place I looked when I wanted to impress my husband with cooking him a nice succulent lamb tagine, boy did I fail time and time again. So I made many kitchen bloopers, got my fair share of critiques and lesson for life, when you don’t know something seek help from someone who does, do not try and do it alone, and so I learnt from the best, my mother in law who is a FANTASTIC cook and I am here to share the culture, traditions and tastiness of Moroccan Food with you.
