Brief Introduction

Take the Comprehensive Exam in Supply Chain Management to earn the MITx MicroMasters credential.

Description

The MITx MicroMasters credential in Supply Chain Management is a standalone certification program offered by MITx that is designed and administered by the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL); supported by the MIT Office of Digital Learning (ODL); and delivered on edx.org. The MITx MicroMasters credential consists of five intensive on-line courses covering all aspects of logistics and supply chain management along with a proctored comprehensive final exam (CFx).

DATES: The next CFx exam will take place from October 7-9, 2020.

PREREQUISITE: To take the CFx, the learner must have passed all five SCx courses as a verified learner.

Knowledge

  • The CFx consists of two exams, Exam I and Exam II. The exams will be a mix of qualitative and quantitative questions. Exam I mainly covers contents from the first courses of the SCM MicroMasters series (SC0x, SC1x, SC2x). Exam II is more focused on contents from later courses (SC3x, SC4x). Students must always start with Exam I. Once they have completed Exam I, they will be able to access Exam II.
  • Both exams will be timed and proctored. The time allotted to each exam will be 2 hours (2 hours to complete Exam I and another 2 hours to complete Exam II). In addition, both exams must be completed within a 12-hour period. The exams will be proctored, which means that the learners must use the PSI proctoring software to be virtually proctored.
  • Only people who have obtained a final grade equal or above 60% in all five SCx courses as verified learners are qualified to take the CFx exam.
