  • To take advantage of this course, students will need a camera that allows the use of external, off-camera lights (DSLR or mirrorless with hot-shoe or internal wireless trigger system), as well as a speedlight / strobe and respective triggering system.
  • Students will also need to have working knowledge of their camera, including how to set your exposure modes, shutter speed, aperture and ISO.
  • This course was designed around the Westcott Apollo 28" and accessories, but the principles still apply to any similar sized softbox.
  • Photo editing and processing software, such as Adobe Lightroom and / or Photoshop, will also allow the students to take more advantage of the post-processing chapters in the course.
