The Play for Peace model is one of community change in over 14 countries. Our youth leaders, comprising multiple ethnic groups and functioning as cohesive working teams, develop their Play for Peace understanding and skills. They then facilitate experiential processes and activities with children throughout the year, as well as implement self-initiated peace-building experiences in the broader community. By modeling what it means to be a leader for peace and developing their character as community leaders, these youth leaders build the confidence to use those skills and attributes to live more responsible, positive and self-fulfilling lives. Changes at the individual, group and community level are incremental and positive. This course will take you through the history, community and Play for Peace model. You will also learn what you need to know in order to join our Global Learning Community.
