This course is for beginners and advanced painters in Oilpaint. You will learn how to set up a drawing in pencil and English Red. Inbetween, Michael will show the student some famous paintings of famous Dutch Painters and explain their techniques .
We will learn how to mix basic colors needed for this painting in the style of the Dutch Masters. Michael will show which brushes will work best for this painting and included is a download file for all materials. There is also a section which explains the basic two point perspective technique and how to use it in a painting/drawing.
In all courses Michael will show you interesting clips of Holland which always will connect with the Main topic, in this case a Fishing boat from Ucluelet , Vancouver Island BC. Michael will take you back in History and show you how Fisherman worked and lived 350 years ago.
In a pleasant light-hearted way Michael will explain step by step how to build up a Sunset sky and work in layers. Then you will learn how to weather an old Fishing boat and how to set up the Foliage , stones, grasses etc.
You will learn how to create depth in a painting and how to lead the eye of the spectator to the Main topic, in this case the Fishingboat.
