Hello,
My name is Tom Stikkelman and welcome to my course Mastercam Basics.
In this course I cover the basics of creating part geometry and how to use that geometry to select tool paths for CNC lathe and mill operations.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Draw 2D and 3D wireframe geometry.
- Move or copy geometry to different levels.
- Use construction planes effectively.
- Create solid models.
- Select geometry for tool paths for lathe operations.
- Select geometry for mill operations.
- Use post-processor to generate G-code programs.
Mastercam is a very powerful CadCam software that is capable of drawing very complex geometry that can be used to create programs for the most complex CNC machines on the market.
Your ability to effectively use Mastercam will open doors to a great career as a CNC programmer.
