Hello and welcome to Mandala Drawing 101 - The easy and fun lesson that will help you learn the basics of mandala drawing!
In this class, we will draw a black and white mandala (but feel free to use any color of your preference) and you will learn how to:
- create a Mandala layout,
- what are some basic mandala patterns and
- how to implement these basic patterns into your drawing.
Drawing mandalas and zentangle art don't require extraordinary artistic skills, but the understanding of a framework and a basic drawing technique. That's what we will be covering in this class.
Once you learn how to prepare and create a layout, everything else becomes a play! ;)
By drawing mandalas you improve the focus, calm or unwind your mind and have endless options to express creativity.
Upon finishing this class, you may also check the more advanced classes about drawing coloured mandalas, drawing on different surfaces etc.
