You can run this course in two ways.
Firstly, as a standard course. You can watch the videos explaining computing fundamentals and follow the demonstrations on Python Programming, HTML Web Design, SQL Databases, PHP connecting your web page to your database and Create Android Mobile Apps.
Or, secondly, you can listen to a chapter on the story about the town of Eye Dunnow TM to gain an idea of the concepts, and then watch the videos and follow the demonstrations as above. The town is one of the hidden towns and its main job is to run the Internet. But it is under attack from computer viruses. You follow the experiences of Peta Byte as he learns all he needs to save the town. Each lecture of the story contains analogies that will help you understand computing concepts. And those computing concepts appear in the demonstration videos that come after the story.
All of the software you need is free, you just need a computer that you can download, install and run the software.
