The inspiration to create this course came from the ever increasing demand for the eCommerce image editors. It's a completely new job profile which has emerged in the last few years, says Janak Shah, the course instructor.
Today, in the e-commerce industry, people can not touch or feel the product before buying, and hence their buying decision is highly influenced by the product image the see. A good quality and professionally edited product image has become critical in almost all the forms of eCommerce. May it be fashion, jewelry, food, hotels, travel packages, furniture etc. There are millions of images which are being edited every day and is growing. And there is a great demand for the skilled photo editors to do this kind of a job. This course is specially designed to fill this skill gap.
About the instructor: Janak Shah
Janak is a Mumbai based photographer and Photoshop artist. He is a graduate of the Academy of Art University, San Francisco earning his MFA in Photography. He has a cumulative experience of 12 years and runs a successful commercial photography studio shooting corporate, e-commerce, fashion, corporate videos, weddings etc. He has also been teaching photography and Photoshop at Jai Hind College, a top tier college in Mumbai since 2015. He co-founded Zoetrope EDU to realize his passion for teaching and reaching to 1000’s of students with quality and professional standard content. Janak has also done fine art group shows in San Francisco and New York and has been published internationally.

This course is for aspiring photo editors and product photographers who wants to learn the art of image editing for eCommerce products.
