Unfortunately, the incredibly important step of marketing your GovCon Business is often skipped. Let me ask you this... Let's say, for example, you were having your house painted and you had the choice between two contractors to paint your house. One contractor you have never heard of and the other comes highly referred by a family member. Which are you going to choose? It goes without saying that you would choose the latter. Why should government contracting be any different? Except in this case, YOU'RE the contractor, and if you're not properly marketing, you're going to be the no-name contractor from the example.
