Why take this course?
For some of you, this course may serve as a guide or a refresher checklist, to reinforce your focus and accelerate your performance on all you’ve learned and accomplished to date. For others, this may serve as a cornerstone for a new beginning for your career in business.
When we talk about results, I am first asking you to consider what, for you, constitutes an authentically great life, a life well lived, a life for which you are grateful for and proud of, regardless of pressing circumstances and possibly innumerable challenges encountered along the way? On that basis of those starting questions, I then think we’re ready to seriously talk about how to best organize yourself, your business models and your professional practices to be who you want to be and to get where you want to go.
The high ground here, in my opinion, is not that you merely achieve numerical results and milestones, but you especially get to create the life and business you want with the best people you can access, with a great future for growth together - a celebratory joy ride for all involved.
As you continue to grow into all that you aspire to be as a person and a professional, you also can have the satisfaction that you are pioneering new frontiers in your own creative ingenuity and unique self-expression, giving shape to the art that your life and your business can be, with your personal fingerprint stamped all over it, with impeccable integrity and tremendous dignity.
This first course is part of our Gist Series for Entrepreneurs: “8 Key Strategies for Your Total Business Success.”
This Course is about creating a compelling, passionate, three-year vision for yourself.
Let's get started. Here is what you will learn in this course.
1. How to create a compelling, passionate, three-year vision for yourself.
- Define and solve real problems in the marketplace – find pressing needs with audiences that can pay
- What do you most love to do? What are you really good at? What is your irresistible value proposition?
- How to find and work with A+ players/talent - good people don’t cost money. Think win-win investment.
We will be working on the following:
#1) You get to live by design, not by default. Invest at least 1 hour to write out the following:
- What will your life look like in 3 years, if you are really living your life the way you want to live?
- If we were meeting here, in 3 years time, looking back over the previous 36 months, what would have to have happened, both personally and professionally, for you to be happy with your progress?
- This is totally worth investing your precious time – it’s your rocket launch plan for your “moon shot"!
#2) Create a Master Dream List for Your Whole Life
“Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve.” —Napoleon Hill
- What are Your Major Personal Dreams and Goals? (anything and everything you can possibly imagine)
- What are Your Major Professional Dreams and Goals? (anything and everything you can possibly imagine)
#3) Complete a 90 Day Goal Sheet
- What do I want in my life that I do not have right now?
- What do I want to have more or less of?
- What are Your Top 3 Business Goals and Top 3 Personal Goals, each with 2-3 Action Steps
#4) Create Your Monthly Absolute Must List with Your Top 5 Most Important Priorities
- Does Your Monthly Absolute Must List absolutely excite you?
- Will it inspire you to harness your focus and to execute your most important priorities?
- Will it energize you to do what you must do to follow through, to create the life and the business of your dreams?

- The course starts when you register. Determine, in writing, your BIG WHY for taking this course. (at least 7-10 compelling reasons) how you want this course to make a huge difference for you. Start journaling and/or keep a file folder to collect great notes about any ideas/inspirations you may have about who you most want to be (or would love to see yourself to be) and how you are going to bring that to life/form as a set of products and services for the most opportunistic demands and attractive trends in the marketplace. Determine what's already working or not working for you. What do you see/think you most need to work on, to make the biggest difference for you to move yourself forward, onwards and upwards. Who are your biggest, best role models? Who has served you as a warning sign? Why?
