Learn the both left hand and right hand techniques on the the ukulele / uke / ukelele using the strumming method!

Description

This course will teach you how to play both left hand and right hand techniques on the ukulele for the strumming method.

This course is appropriate for all levels. So if you are a complete beginner this course will show you the basics of this technique. If you are a more advanced player then you can use this course to improve your technique and even use the exercises as part of your daily warm-up or practice.

You don’t need to be able to read music to do this course in fact you can do it even if you’ve not picked up a ukulele before! You will need a ukulele, access to some way of tuning the instrument and most of all a strong desire to learn.

This strumming basics course starts right at the beginning - showing you: what the different parts of the ukulele are, how to tune the ukulele and how to use the resources that are available for this course.

After this we then move right along to right hand techniques – this means learning different types of strums and different strumming patterns.

The next section looks at left hand techniques where we will learn a series of different chords and then how to move between them with the aim of building chord sequences.

You will find the resources to download at each stage and they include easy-to-read diagrams, ukulele tablature (TAB), chord charts and mp3 playalongs. All this to help you in your own practice.
