Alcohol Ink Northern Lights & Winter Snow Night Skies - Monochromatic Elf Film & Canvas
I"ve come across a really interesting new paper called ELF film that I wanted to share with you today. It's super shiny and gorgeous for creating that lovely northern lights look with alcohol inks. We'll cover how to use it with alcohol ink mixatives, and how to blend them to create a lovely snow-covered forest.
The colors will shift and dance, it's so fun to watch.
Learn to control alcohol inks in a very playful way.
We'll be working on two painting projects for this course. For the second substrate, we'll use canvas. We'll talk about how to use canvas with alcohol inks and how they can be prepped along with the differences from other smoother substrates.
If you are ready to try something really cool that gives that beautiful look of the northern lights with ease, then let's take a look together.Both projects are project-based, using a monochromatic color scheme, perfect for that winter snowy look. We'll even toss in a few red cardinals in one of the paintings.
