One can say that BB has defined the blues for a worldwide audience. He is a 15-time Grammy Award winner and he always ranks high on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

His playing is always instantly identifiable and phrased impeccably well. All you need to hear is a few of his sweet notes or his stinging vibrato and you know its BB. His unique style always used his voice and guitar to provide melody and harmony. His technique was one of spareness and emotive playing.
