Brief Introduction

Learn how to make yeast bread from start to finish within 30 minutes - no kneading and no long waiting time required

Description

This bread making course is all about making quick, easy and simple recipes for the family to enjoy for breakfast or snack time. Straying from the conventional way of making yeast bread, the process of bread making you’ll learn in this course doesn’t require kneading and no time needed to wait for your dough to rise and double up in size. Taking away this two long processes you’ll have your fresh bread prepared and cooked in 30 minutes.

Most of the recipes you’ll find in this course are Japanese bread or what they call “pan” in Japan. You’ll learn how to make some of the most popular Japanese breads like anpan and those which have Western influences like cinnamon roll yeast bread. I will be using “bread” and “pan” interchangeably throughout this course. The course will cover making the basic base bread dough and from it will be making several arrangements and tweaks to make it a more delicious bread with added flavors and fancy shapes.

You’ll need two important kitchen tools to follow along the recipes in this course - the microwave oven and a conventional oven.  The baking time for most of the bread recipes in this course is about 10 minutes. It’s a no fuss-recipe for bread.

This course is not about teaching you the best loaf of bread, french bread or other traditional bread you might be familiar with. What you’ll get are recipes for really quick yeast bread which you can make and bake the same time as you would to your favorite cookies or muffins. No kneading, no long time of waiting for the bread to rise up and double in size. I think most of us doesn’t like these two process that’s why they hesitate to make bread at home. This course will help you to try and make your own bread as a starter and maybe in the future, inspire you to go on to the next step which is to learn the more traditional way of making bread.

In some of the lecture videos, you’ll see that I will be baking the bread outdoor, using my cast iron skillet over open fire or charcoal. Don’t think that you need to do the same thing, as long as you have an indoor oven you can follow the same procedures and cooking time. I will be providing the information on how high the temperature you need if using an indoor oven in each lecture.

If your goal is just to satisfy your cravings for bread and have something homemade and fresh to be served for breakfast or snack for your family, then this is the course for you. With the simple ingredients needed and tools which you might already have, let’s start making your first bread.
